Why Should You Never Hate The Experience That Shaped You?

Do you regret the choices or the decisions you made in the past? Be it in the places you think you should have avoided, the friends you lose and regret not trying to hold them, or your failed relationship.

Do you regret making a bad investment, have you been on bed rest for long and keep wishing you didn’t have to face that phase or stayed unemployed for longer than you ever thought and till the date you regret thinking you have wasted your time? Have you experienced a failed business or have failed to achieve what you wanted to achieve? Overall, do you hate the experiences that have shaped you to be who you are today?

We all have experienced one or more of this in our lives and yes, it is all these experiences that have made us what and who we are today, irrespective of good or bad experiences. These moments, disappointing events, and experiences have contributed to who you are today. You may have thought or wished to avoid those moments and events but without them, you would have never been the same person that you are today.

This is a healthy way to approach your past experiences and will prepare you for similar experiences in the future. These experiences help you to develop holistically.

There may be some bitter experiences that you may not be able to love though you love the person you have become, it is completely okay not to love but not healthy to hate those experiences. You need to learn to atleast appreciate the experiences for what they have brought you, it may be lessons, or pearls of wisdom, and need to be grateful for them. Because this is much healthier than bitterness, regret, or anger. Especially because you can't change the past, you can only learn from it and grow into the best version of yourself as this will help you for a brighter future.

Do not hate your mistakes, your heartbreaks, your choices, decisions, or the darkness because these were the turning points in your life and if you feel that you will never be able to bounce back from certain falls in life, it is because a few things are meant to fall apart, ruined, broken and left alone so that you become teh best version of yourself, you move forward. Maybe these bad choices are here to teach you to how to let go of things and learn that maybe we don't always know what is best for us and that is completely fine, we learn and then we grow. These bad choices, decisions, and mistakes don't define you, you don't always have to apologize for them because you don't belong to your past. Those experiences were the stepping stone to rise above then what you were yesterday and have taught you to be better than ever.

Your dark moments have made you fight for the light, it made you get rid of your ego or maybe help you to flow your art, and it made you appreciate things and be grateful for everything around you. It is okay not to be strong always, or to be in darkness as long as you choose to do something about it and choose to find an exit.

Because it needs moments of darkness and despair before you see the light.

Your past experiences have made you a person with deeper understanding and wisdom. It has made you a human being with deeper insight into life itself. What you are today is because of your experiences.

When people hate the experiences that have shaped them, they are likely to be unhappy with what life will offer them.
