Superfood is a new term referring to food that has maximum nutritional benefits with minimal calories. They are rich in antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. They have a very high nutritional density and that means they provide a substantial amount of nutrients with a few calories. It contains antioxidants that help neutralize free radicals in our bodies.
Adding superfoods to your diet is great. Superfoods are high in antioxidants and flavonoids that help to prevent coronary heart disease and cancer. It helps to improve immunity and decrease inflammation.

Whole Grains:
Adding whole grains like brown rice, bulgur wheat, buckwheat, oats, millet, quinoa, and barley to your diet may reduce the risk of diabetes mellitus and heart disease. Whole grains are loaded with fiber and nutrients as compared to refined white grains like rice, white bread, flour, and corn grits.
Soybeans:
Soybeans contain a type of phytochemical known as isoflavones. Soy Isoflavones may help to prevent age-related memory loss and may also reduce none loss.
Some research demonstrates that isoflavones in soy help reduce the amount of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or “bad” cholesterol in the blood.
