ESFJ: Personality: Strength, Weakness, Characteristics







A consul is someone with extraverted, observant. feeling, and judging traits. They are loyal, personal doers. They love harmony and it is at the forefront of their minds, ready to do anything to maintain it. These people are comfortable following established practices and processes. They are attentive and people who enjoy taking part in their social community.

Strengths Of ESFJ:

Have people's skills:

Consul personality types are good at connecting with others and these qualities come together making consul types social, comfortable, and well-liked. They have a strong need to belong and don’t have any problem with small talk or even following social cues in order to take active roles.

Warm and emotional:

Consul personality types seek harmony and care deeply about others’ feelings and the reason they stay careful not to hurt or offend anyone. They are strong team players.

Trustworthy and loyal:

Consul highly values stability and security and are eager to preserve the status quo making them extremely loyal and trustworthy both as employees and partners. They are the true pillars of any group that they belong to, be it in a community or family, one can rely on people with these personality types.

Responsible:

Consul types have a strong sense of duty and responsibility and thus, strive to meet their obligations. It can happen at times that it is done more from a sense of social expectations than natural drive.

Have strong practical skills:

Consul personality types are known as excellent managers of day-to-day tasks and routine maintenance. They enjoy making sure that people close to them are taken care of properly.

Needy for reassurance:

Consul types need to hear and see a great deal of appreciation and if they realize that their efforts are going unnoticed they may even start fishing for compliments. They try this in an attempt to get reassurance to see their value in people's lives.

Too sensitive to criticism:

Consul types are people who try to avoid conflicts and it can be very challenging for them to change this vulnerability to criticism. They can become very defensive and hurt if someone tries to criticize them or their habits, traditions, or beliefs especially if someone close to them does it.

Hesitant to improvise:

As they are critical to others’ unusual behavior, they may not even want to step out of their comfort zones usually due to the fear of being different.

Too worried about their social status:

Consul types are preoccupied with social status and influence which even affects many decisions that consul types make which end up limiting their open-mindedness and creativity.

Too selfless:

At times consul may try to establish their value by giving too much attention, something that can quickly overwhelm people who don't need it and thus, making it ultimately unwelcomed. People with these personality types often neglect their own needs as well in this process.

Rigid:

More focused on what is socially accepted they can be extremely cautious or even critical of anything unconventional or outside the mainstream. They may even try to make a lot of effort by pushing their own beliefs to establish it as mainstream. They are inflexible.

Characteristics Of ESFJ:

Consul types are cheerleaders who take the spotlight and lead their teams forward to fame and victory. They find it enjoyable in supporting their friends and loved ones, organizing social gatherings by giving their best to make sure that people around them are happy. Consul types are more focused on discussing appearance, fashion, social status, and the standings of other people and will hardly be interested in some scientific theories or debating on politics. Consul types may best use their powers for good but practical matters and gossip are their bread and butter. People with these personality types base their moral compass on established traditions and laws, upholding rules and authority rather than drawing their morality from philosophy. Consul types love to serve and they enjoy any role that helps them to participate in a meaningful way. Consul types put a lot of effort into the activities that have been arranged and they may get hurt when their ideas are rejected. They are supportive and outgoing.
